Shanghai Futures Exchange Releases May 29 Warehousing Data; Alumina Inventory Falls 15,610 Tons

According to the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), on May 29, the exchange released its daily warehousing receipts update across 23 commodity futures contracts. Alumina inventory posted the largest decline, falling 15,610 tons to 436,720 tons; hot-rolled coil stock decreased 8,051 tons to 487,132 tons; silver inventory dropped 11,051 kilograms to 976,900 kilograms. On the upside, natural rubber receipts rose 3,970 tons to 150,660 tons; rebar inventory increased 3,585 tons to 23,803 tons; stainless steel holdings climbed 3,022 tons to 77,550 tons. Copper, nickel, and lead inventories each showed modest gains, while crude oil, pulp, and fuel oil receipts remained flat.
