SEC Delays U.S. Stock Tokenization Exemption Policy Originally Planned for This Week

According to Bloomberg, citing informed sources, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has delayed releasing its policy on exemptions for tokenized U.S. stock innovation. The SEC originally planned to announce the policy this week with a draft internally reviewed and ready. However, in recent days, the SEC received feedback from stock exchange officials and other market participants who expressed concerns about certain aspects of the proposal, particularly third-party tokenized versions issued without listed company authorization.
