SC Crude Oil Falls Over 7%, LU Drops Over 6% on July 27 Amid Red Sea Supply Concerns

According to Guangda Futures, SC crude oil fell over 7% in early morning trading on July 27, while low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and fuel oil declined over 6%. The declines came as escalating U.S.-Iran conflict and intensifying Red Sea tensions restrict Middle East energy exports, constraining crude supply to international markets.

Oil prices have rallied nearly 40% over the past three weeks from recent lows, with prices approaching the $100 per barrel level. The upward momentum reflects supply risks from geopolitical disruptions in the region.
