SBI Group Acquires Majority Stake in Singapore Crypto Platform Coinhako

According to CoinDesk, Japanese financial group SBI Group acquired a majority stake in Coinhako, a Singapore-based cryptocurrency platform, on July 17, expanding its digital asset business in Asia. Coinhako holds a Major Payment Institution license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore and serves over 480,000 users, giving SBI a regulated crypto platform in the region.
