Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix Plunge Over 14% in First Two Days of July

According to Korea Exchange, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix tumbled on July 1-2, with Samsung sliding 14.4%. The decline reversed gains from the prior period, when both semiconductors advanced on expectations of an AI-driven memory supercycle and rising chip prices.
