Samsung Electronics Rises 0.58% While SK Hynix Falls 0.33% on July 22, Diverging Leveraged ETF Performance

According to Korea Exchange data, on July 22, Samsung Electronics closed up 0.58% at 260,500 won, while SK Hynix fell 0.33% to 1.83 million won. The divergence in underlying assets reflected disparate performance across single-stock leveraged ETFs. Samsung-tracking products gained: KODEX Samsung leverage rose 0.52%, TIGER Samsung 0.89%, ACE Samsung 0.72%, and PLUS Samsung 0.74%. In contrast, SK Hynix-linked ETFs declined: KODEX SK Hynix leverage fell 1.56%, TIGER SK Hynix 0.79%, and ACE SK Hynix 0.91%. Inverse products also split: SOL SK Hynix futures inverse 2X gained 1.07%, while PLUS Samsung futures inverse 2X dropped 0.94%. Samsung's strength was partly attributed to news of a new robotics business unit announcement.
