Samsung, Dunamu Clarify They Were Added to OUSD Alliance Without Agreement This Week

According to The Block, Samsung Electronics, Dunamu (Upbit's parent company), Shinhan Financial Group, and Kbank were listed as members of the OUSD stablecoin alliance this week without formal consent. The companies stated they had only provided preliminary responses such as "we will consider it" or "we will study this matter," but found their names already added to the member list. Open Standard announced the alliance on the same week, which includes over 140 institutions including Visa, Mastercard, and BlackRock, and plans to launch the OUSD stablecoin this year.
