Russia Plans to Cut June Crude Oil Exports to 1.7M Barrels Per Day From 2.5M in May

According to market sources cited by Jin10 Data, Russia plans to reduce crude oil exports in June as it raises refinery operating rates amid fuel supply concerns. Loadings at western ports—Primorsk, Ust-Luga, and Novorossiysk—are expected to fall from 2.5 million barrels per day in May to 1.7 million barrels per day in June. The decline stems partly from lower crude production levels. Russia aims to increase refinery processing by 250,000 to 400,000 barrels per day in June to meet seasonal fuel demand, with the production shortfall redirecting additional crude from export to domestic processing.
