According to research covered by MarketWatch, five S&P 500 companies have emerged as undervalued AI adopters since February 2026, contrary to the market's traditional AI stock focus. The study evaluated over 130 companies across 14 industries and identified Visa, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Evolent Health, and Pagaya Technologies as demonstrating the deepest actual AI integration.
Visa has deployed AI tools for 26,100 employees with 261,000 cumulative AI-driven interactions and over 100 internal applications. Salesforce restructured its product line around its Agentforce AI platform, investing over $3 billion in acquisitions. ServiceNow committed $100 billion to AI expansion, including acquisitions of Moveworks and Armis. Evolent Health leverages AI for insurance pre-authorization and clinical decision support, while Pagaya Technologies uses AI for consumer lending credit assessment.
