According to Rappler, Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) will waive InstaPay transfer fees starting July 4, 2026, joining other Philippine banks in eliminating digital payment costs. RCBC Pulz customers may make up to 30 free InstaPay transfers per month with a minimum of P100 per transaction; transfers below P100 or beyond the monthly allocation will be charged P10. DiskarTech users can make unlimited free person-to-person InstaPay transfers with no minimum amount or transaction cap.
The move follows similar fee cuts by Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), which permanently removed InstaPay and PESONet fees starting July 1, and Land Bank of the Philippines, which lowered its InstaPay fee to P8 and offered one free daily transfer for transactions of P1,000 and below. The changes align with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Circular No. 1238, which requires banks to keep interbank transfer fees close to what they charge for domestic transfers.
