RBI Governor: Dollar Attraction Measures in June Brought $32 Billion in Inflows

According to RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra in an interview published on July 27, measures introduced by India's central bank in June to attract dollar inflows have generated nearly $32 billion in fund inflows, with the majority coming from the foreign currency non-resident deposit scheme. Additionally, approximately $7 billion flowed into Indian bond markets as foreign securities investment following tax adjustments.
