According to Qatar’s Foreign Ministry, on May 14, Qatar’s Foreign Minister met with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand. The two sides reviewed bilateral cooperation and discussed regional developments, particularly ceasefire-related matters between the United States and Iran, as well as efforts aimed at easing tensions and strengthening regional security and stability. The officials also signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a strategic dialogue mechanism between Qatar’s Foreign Ministry and Canada’s Department of Global Affairs.
