Publicis Acquires LiveRamp for $2.2 Billion on May 17, Offering 29.8% Premium

According to Reuters, Publicis Groupe agreed on May 17 to acquire US data collaboration firm LiveRamp for approximately $2.2 billion in cash. Publicis will pay $38.50 per share, representing a 29.8% premium to LiveRamp’s closing price on May 15. The platform enables companies to connect datasets without directly sharing personal information. The deal has board approval and is expected to close by the end of 2026, pending shareholder and regulatory approval.
