Polymarket Integrates Spark for Instant Bitcoin Lightning Deposits

Polymarket has integrated Spark to enable instant Bitcoin deposits via the Lightning Network, expanding payment options for the crypto-native prediction market.

The integration allows users to deposit BTC directly through Lightning, with funds settling in seconds compared to 30 minutes to an hour for standard on-chain transactions. According to Spark, Lightning deposits offer faster settlement, lower fees and greater privacy than base-layer Bitcoin transfers. By lowering friction for Bitcoin holders, Polymarket aims to attract more BTC-native traders who previously needed to convert or bridge assets into stablecoins before funding accounts.
