Polygon Launches Open Money Stack API Platform for Digital Banks on May 19

Polygon launched Open Money Stack on May 19, 2026, a unified application programming interface platform designed to help digital banks and fintech firms manage wallets, payments, compliance systems, and cross-chain settlements through a single operational framework.

According to the company, the platform aims to reduce blockchain adoption barriers by simplifying technical processes such as manual network selection, gas fee management, and complex cross-chain transfers. Polygon noted that the infrastructure integrates wallet tools, fiat on-ramp services, and settlement capabilities into a consolidated environment. The system includes anti-money laundering and know-your-customer compliance features, supported by Polygon's 2024 acquisition of Coinme, which provides licensed services across over 48 U.S. states.
