Politico Analysis Shows Trump Focused on DC Beautification in May, With 80 Posts vs 29 on Election Integrity

According to Politico's analysis released on June 7, examination of Trump's 800+ May Truth Social posts reveals that beautification of Washington D.C. dominated his social media activity, with 80 mentions far exceeding posts on election integrity (29), immigration (11), and urban crime combined. Rebuilding the Republican Party and attacking party opponents ranked as the top theme, followed by the D.C. beautification agenda. Trump emphasized large-scale projects including a 2,500-foot-long, nearly 200-foot-wide National Mall reflecting pool. Iran-related topics appeared 68 times, with focus on preventing Iranian nuclear weapons and achieving "good deals." AI-generated imagery—including synthetics of Trump carved into Mount Rushmore and walking with an alien figure in Nevada's Area 51—formed the third largest content category. Trump posted most frequently between 10 and 11 p.m., with over 78 posts in May.
