Poland's KGHM Signs MOU with Pomeranian Province on Puck Potash-Magnesium Salt Project Holding 303M Tons

Poland's copper producer KGHM Polska Miedz SA signed a memorandum of understanding with Pomeranian Province on July 3 to cooperate on the Puck potash-magnesium salt mining project, based on the Mierochowin deposit. The deposit holds an estimated geological resource of over 303 million tons. KGHM will prepare documentation needed to apply for mining concession rights, with regulatory approvals expected to take approximately 6 years.
