Poland Signs European Security Facility Agreement, Secures €43.7B in Loans on May 8

According to Polish news agency PAP, Poland signed the ‘European Security Facility’ agreement with the European Commission on May 8, becoming the first of 19 participating nations to do so. Under the agreement, Poland will receive up to €43.7 billion (approximately $51.5 billion) in low-interest loans for defense and security investments.
