According to Xinhua, the Philippine Anti-Corruption Court issued an arrest warrant for Senator Jinggoy Estrada on June 1 over bribery allegations. Estrada announced on the same day that he would voluntarily surrender to police and would not seek senatorial immunity in response to the warrant.
