Pakistan Draws Red Line on Iran: Attacks on Saudi Arabia Will Be Treated as Attacks on Pakistan

According to Reuters, Pakistan warned Iran today that any attacks on Saudi Arabia would be considered attacks on Pakistan, marking an unmovable red line for Islamabad. The Pakistani government and military conveyed this stance to Iran's highest levels, citing the joint strategic defense agreement signed between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in 2025, which stipulates that attacks on either party will be treated as aggression against both.

Meanwhile, Iran has reportedly told Houthi forces that if the U.S. attacks Iranian power facilities, they will consider blockading the Strait of Mandeb. Houthi forces have allegedly deployed missiles and drones near the strait.
