OpenAI Signs Agreement to Provide Free ChatGPT Plus for One Year to All Malta Residents

According to Reuters, on Saturday (May 16), OpenAI signed an agreement with Malta’s government to provide all residents free access to ChatGPT Plus for one year after completing a free AI training course. The program will launch in May and expand as more Maltese residents complete the course. Malta is the first country to launch such an initiative. The agreement also extends to Maltese citizens living abroad. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
