According to U.S. Central Command, one American soldier was killed and another injured on July 18 during controlled demolition of a downed Iranian drone in northern Iraq. The injured soldier is receiving treatment for minor injuries. CENTCOM also confirmed that remains of a soldier reported missing on July 17 were discovered yesterday morning; identity verification is ongoing. The incidents occurred amid continued military exchanges between the U.S. and Iran.
