Nvidia Expands Partnership with Toyota to Supply GPUs and AI Technology on July 16

According to Nikkei Asia, Nvidia announced today (July 16) that it will expand its partnership with Toyota, supplying GPUs and AI technology to accelerate artificial intelligence adoption in Japan. Nvidia will provide graphics processing units to Woven by Toyota, Toyota's advanced technology subsidiary, with the technology to be integrated into Woven City's traffic management system. Additionally, Nvidia will provide next-generation automotive semiconductors and software platform technology for manufacturing facility robot control AI systems. The partnership builds on their initial collaboration announced in 2017 on autonomous driving software and semiconductors; Toyota has already deployed Nvidia automotive chips in its Level 2+ autonomous vehicles.
