NSK and NTN Bearings Sign Merger Agreement, Target Integration by October 2027

According to Japanese media, NSK and NTN Bearings signed a basic merger agreement on May 12, with integration planned by October 2027. The merger of the world’s third and fourth largest bearing manufacturers will create a leading global enterprise. The plan includes establishing a holding company with NSK appointing the president and NTN appointing the chairman. Both companies aim to reduce costs and enhance competitiveness through production consolidation and more efficient research and development investment.
