Nomura Raises 2026 Global AI Server Revenue Forecast by 12%, Sees Peak Cycle Ahead

According to Nomura analysts, the firm raised its 2026 global AI server revenue forecast by 12% due to strong demand and higher average selling prices. Analysts noted that the AI industry has not yet reached its cycle peak, as hyperscale cloud providers are expected to further increase capital expenditure extending into 2027. The firm also sees significant upside potential in China's AI value chain, as Chinese AI investment continues to catch up with global markets. Nomura expects supply chain constraints in storage chips to support margin expansion for leading Chinese tech and internet companies in the second half of 2026 and beyond.
