According to ANZ New Zealand, the country's business confidence index rose to 36.6 in June from 10 in May, the highest level since February, driven by falling fuel prices and signs of U.S.-Iran tensions easing. The bank's measure of own activity expectations also climbed to 36.9 from 25.6. The improvement suggests New Zealand's economic growth may not slow as sharply as initially forecast this year.
