According to reports citing Israeli officials on May 17, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump held a phone call to discuss the possibility of resuming military operations against Iran. The call lasted approximately 30 minutes, according to Israel’s public broadcaster.

An Israeli senior official told the broadcaster that if the U.S. resumes military action against Iran, the two countries are expected to jointly launch airstrikes.
