Netanyahu Admits Israel Has Limited Ability to Influence Trump on Iran Policy

GateNews
According to Reuters, citing two Israeli officials, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu admitted on May 25 that Israel has gradually lost the ability to influence U.S. President Trump's decisions on Iran and has been largely excluded from U.S.-Iran negotiations. One official noted Netanyahu expressed concerns about a draft memorandum of understanding being negotiated indirectly through Pakistan. According to U.S. government officials, the proposed agreement would require Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for the removal of U.S. maritime blockades, with subsequent nuclear talks to follow. Netanyahu acknowledged Israel currently has no means to influence Trump on the issue.
