Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index Falls 2.50% to 6,192.86, Breaks Key Support

Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index fell 2.50% to close at 6,192.86 on June 16, breaking below the April 8, 2025 closing level of 6,198.18 and approaching the September 23, 2024 support level of 5,917.72.

Among major Chinese tech stocks, semiconductor player ASMedia fell 4.5%, while Pony AI and XPeng dropped over 4%; Tencent, Meituan, NIO, Baidu, and NetEase each fell over 3%. The China Internet ETF (KWEB) declined 2.78% and China Tech ETF (CQQQ) fell 1.62%.
