Morgan Stanley Forecasts 60% AI-Related NAND Demand Growth in 2027 Amid Consumer-Server Split

According to Morgan Stanley's report released July 2, AI-related NAND demand is expected to grow approximately 60% year-over-year in 2027, creating a 9% supply-demand gap that may extend through that year.

The report noted divergence between market segments: consumer electronics experienced actual order reductions following consecutive price increases in the second quarter, with rising module and channel inventory and potential price ceiling pressure, while server demand remained strong, sustained by long-term supply agreements.
