According to SEC amended filings, on June 19, Morgan Stanley submitted updated applications for spot Ether and Solana ETFs with a 0.14% management fee for each product. The rate would make both funds cheaper than any existing crypto ETF in the United States.
The current lowest-fee spot Ether ETF is Grayscale Ethereum Staking Mini ETF at 0.15% annually, while Franklin Templeton's SOEZ holds the cheapest Solana ETF position at 0.19%, per Farside Investors. Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas noted the 0.14% tier would make Morgan Stanley's funds the cheapest globally. If approved, the Ethereum Trust will trade as MSSE and the Solana Trust as MSOL.
