According to WSJ, MicroAlgo Inc. announced a quantum blockchain architecture on May 5 that integrates quantum key distribution (QKD) and quantum-safe channels (QSC) to enhance transaction security and transparency. The system features a four-layer design spanning quantum communication, blockchain core, smart contracts, and application layers. QKD enables secure key generation and distribution, while quantum encryption protects transaction data from theft and tampering with resistance to quantum computing attacks.
