Michael Saylor Attributes Bitcoin's Recent Drop to AI Capital Rotation, Predicts Reversal by End of 2026

BTC-1.92%

Michael Saylor told Natalie Brunell that artificial intelligence is the main reason behind Bitcoin's recent decline. According to Saylor, significant capital is flowing from Bitcoin and other asset classes into AI infrastructure and data centers, with approximately 1–2% of AI investment capital coming from Bitcoin-related allocations.

Saylor predicts the trend will reverse before year-end 2026, estimating the AI-driven capital rotation will take 12 to 24 weeks. He expects hedge funds and investors to take profits from AI investments and rotate capital back into riskier assets like Bitcoin, stating that "the market will look very different by the end of 2026."
