Mexico Demands U.S. Investigation Into Deaths of 17 Citizens Since May 2025

According to Mexico's Foreign Ministry on July 22, 17 Mexican citizens have died in the United States during immigration enforcement operations or while in detention since May 2025. Mexico has filed 20 criminal complaints and is demanding the U.S. Department of Justice launch an investigation into the deaths.
