According to the Malaysia Palm Oil Board, crude palm oil futures on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives exchange may open lower Thursday morning (May 14), tracking declines in international crude oil and soybean oil futures. Malaysia’s palm oil inventory reached 2.31 million tons at end of April, rising 1.7% month-over-month, as production increased while exports slowed, weighing on price sentiment.
