GateNews

According to Xinhua, French President Emmanuel Macron said on May 10 that France has never considered using military force to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. During his visit to Kenya, Macron stated that military deployment to reopen the strait “has never been an option for France.” He added that France and the United Kingdom are jointly leading diplomatic efforts to negotiate with Iran and communicate with regional countries and the U.S. to prevent conflict and restore shipping through the Strait of Hormuz when conditions permit.
