Longbridge appointed former moomoo Singapore executive Gavin Chia as Singapore and Regional CEO for Southeast Asia on May 5, strengthening its position in one of Asia’s most competitive retail trading markets. Chia, who previously helped scale moomoo Singapore into one of the country’s larger digital brokerage platforms before serving as CEO of IG Singapore and Emerging Markets, will oversee operations, regulatory affairs, localization, and regional expansion across Southeast Asia. The appointment follows Longbridge’s securing of a Capital Markets Services licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the establishment of its first physical location in the country. Longbridge currently holds 22 financial regulatory licences across Singapore, Hong Kong, and the United States.
