According to Forbes, on July 21, European humanoid robotics company Humanoid closed Series A funding of $152 million, valuing the London-based firm at $1.35 billion. Prime Movers Lab led the round, with participation from German industrial companies Schaeffler and Bosch, alongside Aglaé Ventures, the investment firm backed by LVMH founder Bernard Arnault's family.
The funding follows Humanoid's earlier procurement agreement with Schaeffler for 1,000 humanoid robots and production capacity partnership with Bosch, positioning the company to achieve production capacity of 100,000 units over the next five years.
