Korean Digital Firms Launch Africa Strategy at Seoul Forum; $30M Ethiopia Land Information Project Unveiled

Korean digital infrastructure companies including DSRV, Korea Export-Import Bank, and the National Information Society Agency (NIA) participated in the 'Ethiopia x K-Digital Connect 2026' forum on July 15 to discuss market entry strategies across Africa. The event, held in Seoul's Gangnam district, brought together World Bank, Korean Fintech Industry Association, and Ethiopian government delegation to explore digital public infrastructure, blockchain, and AI applications.

Korea Export-Import Bank unveiled a $30 million land information system project for Ethiopia, which will establish a land database and management system, digitizing cadastral and administrative data. DSRV highlighted its blockchain-based agricultural voucher pilot in Madagascar, demonstrating improved transparency in subsidy distribution, with plans to expand collaboration across major African nations.
