According to TheElec, on May 14, Korean anhydrous hydrofluoric acid producers Solbrain, ENF Technology, and Huseong plan significant price increases in June and July. Their major customers include Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. Anhydrous HF prices have already risen approximately 40% since the beginning of the year.

The Strait of Hormuz shipping disruption has cut global sulfur supplies by over 30%, driving up sulfuric acid prices and consequently raising costs for hydrofluoric acid production.
