Keyrock, a Brussels-based market maker, completed its acquisition of BlockFills' institutional trading and brokerage assets for $3.25 million on July 16, according to Keyrock CEO Kevin de Patoul. BlockFills froze operations in February 2026 after a reported $75 million lending loss and entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March. The transaction, approved by U.S. bankruptcy court in June, brings derivatives expertise and key personnel including former Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank executive Perry Parker to Keyrock, alongside regulatory licenses in the Cayman Islands and a proposed FCA-authorized entity in the United Kingdom.
