JPMorgan Raises AI Infrastructure Spending Estimate to $5.5 Trillion by 2030

According to JPMorgan's research report, the bank raised its forecast for AI infrastructure investments, projecting that by 2030, hyperscale data center operators will spend approximately $5.5 trillion on AI infrastructure—an increase of $400 billion from its November estimate. JPMorgan noted that roughly $4.1 trillion of this amount is expected to come from debt financing, reflecting expectations that these companies will rely on borrowed capital to fund a larger portion of their expenditures.
