According to the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, Sun Haoming, former deputy director of Jilin Province's Bureau of Grain and Material Reserves, was expelled from the Party and removed from office today (May 25) following investigations into serious discipline violations and suspected bribery. The investigation found Sun abused his authority to solicit bribes in commercial salt transactions and other matters, and failed to correct misconduct after the 18th National Congress. His case has been transferred to prosecutors for criminal review.
