According to Jiangsu Data Bureau, on May 12, the province announced plans to push forward specialized artificial intelligence policies and build multiple data annotation industry innovation pilot zones tailored to local characteristics. Jiangsu has formed 521 high-quality datasets across key sectors including healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, energy, and tourism, totaling over 95PB in scale. The measures include establishing expert committees for data quality standards, organizing supply-demand matching events, and cultivating AI training professionals through university partnerships and industrial integration bases.
Nationally, China has built over 116,000 high-quality datasets totaling more than 960PB as of the first quarter of 2026, according to official statistics.
