JD.com to Open AI Technology Globally, Launches Vision Model With 10M Hours Video Data

According to Guru Club, JD.com founder Liu Qiangdong announced on June 22 at the APEC business forum that the company will open all its AI technologies globally to partners and stated it opposes any technological barriers. JD.com is investing in a vision model and plans to collect over 10 million hours of first-person and third-person video data from its logistics and warehousing operations to train AI systems. Liu emphasized that technological barriers constitute "technological exploitation" and called for international AI collaboration across APEC economies.
