Japan Identifies Philippines as Top Priority for Southeast Asia Oil Reserve Survey

According to Nikkei, Japan's government and Japan International Cooperation Agency will launch a survey of petroleum reserve systems across Southeast Asia starting this summer, with the Philippines identified as the region's top priority for strengthening energy supply chain resilience. The survey will cover the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand, with Vietnam also designated as a priority support nation.
