Japan 40-Year Bond Auction Bid-to-Cover Hits 2.82x on July 22, Strongest Since March 2025

According to Jin10, Japan's 40-year government bond auction on July 22 drew the strongest demand since March 2025, with a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.82x, up from 2.702x in the previous auction and above the 12-month average of 2.55x. The 40-year yield currently stands near 3.895%, well below the May high of 4.355%.
