Israeli Defense Firm IAI Unveils HYPNOSIS System Using Satellite Jamming to Neutralize Drone Swarms

According to Yonhapnews, Israeli aerospace company IAI unveiled HYPNOSIS, a "soft kill" air defense system on July 20 that neutralizes incoming drone and missile swarms using satellite navigation jamming rather than physical interception. The system was revealed through YouTube and social media platforms.

Unlike traditional air defense methods requiring missiles to destroy targets, HYPNOSIS disables airborne threats by disrupting their satellite guidance signals, offering a non-lethal approach to countering coordinated drone attacks.
