According to Israeli officials on May 14, Israel and Lebanon held their third round of talks in Washington at the U.S. State Department. Israel’s delegation was led by Ambassador to the U.S. Liat Nadir and senior security officials, while Lebanon’s included U.S. Ambassador Mowaffaq and former Ambassador Karim. Talks are expected to continue on May 15, though it remains unclear if the parties are close to an agreement.
