According to Iran's state media on May 25, Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei was hospitalized and discharged on March 1, as reported by Iran's Ministry of Health's public relations chief Kermanpur. After being attacked, Khamenei was taken to hospital, where medical staff advised him to stop fasting, but he refused and continued fasting throughout the day, being discharged in the early morning of March 1.
